Delete Your Scentprint Account

Scentprint supports full account and data deletion in compliance with Google Play and GDPR requirements. You can remove your account directly in the app or by contacting our privacy team.

In-app deletion (recommended)

1. Open the Scentprint app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy.
3. Tap Delete Account, confirm, and optionally share a reason.
4. Wait for confirmation. Local data is cleared only after remote deletion succeeds.

The app runs a signed-in deletion cascade against our backends: it removes your Firebase Authentication account, your Firestore profile and everything under it (shelf, blends, journal, wear history, your inferred taste profile, collections, likes, olfactory-school badges), every photo and avatar uploaded under your user folder in Firebase Storage, and your rows in our edge analytics database (via the authenticated /delete-user-data endpoint). For your security we may ask you to sign in again immediately before deletion.

What gets deleted

• Account credentials (Firebase Auth)
• Your profile and every collection stored under it — shelf, blends, journal, wear history, saved collections, likes, and olfactory-school badges
• Your inferred taste profile — the fragrance families, notes and contexts the app learned you prefer — on this device and in its cloud backup
• Avatar and bottle images stored under your user folder
• Edge analytics and catalog-contribution rows linked to your account

What is retained

• Abuse/moderation reports you filed (kept for fraud-prevention and safety, per our privacy policy)
• Your optional deletion-feedback note (kept to improve the service)

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@scentprint.app from the address linked to your account. Include your display name and the email used to sign in. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Anonymized deletion audit logs may be retained for compliance. UGC you reported or that was under active moderation may be retained in aggregate form without personal identifiers where legally required.
